Originally from Boston, Mr. Provost is a Miami copywriter who has created award- winning campaigns for such national clients as Leona Helmsley’s hotels and Carnival Cruise Lines (“We’ve Got the Fun”). His lyrics have been sung by Kathie Lee Gifford, Andrea McArdle, and — in a Beall’s jingle —the Backstreet Boys. His songs have also been featured in Ms. McArdle’s PBS special and her Atlantic City Christmas show. While Allan has written many short stories, poems, straight plays and novels (Mermaids and Magic Words — Avalon 1989), musical comedy is his first love. Mr. Provost is a member of BMI.
